The road to recover from past trauma, grief, sadness, anxiety, disappointment, physical pain and addiction is often difficult to begin.  It is fear that keeps us stuck and often unable to move in the direction of health & wellness.  We are here to tell you that you ARE STRONG and the choice to move through fear IS POSSIBLE!

My name is Amy Rudisill, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 36 years experience working with people struggling with negative symptoms related to trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, being isolated, work related stress, and relationship problems. I have remained as passionate about helping others move toward, health, wellness & healing as the day I started.

My training includes a Masters Degree focused on Human Services & Counseling, training and certification through FEMA in disaster and crisis management, EMDR, and have been certified as a crisis intervention specialist, equine assisted psychotherapist and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have in the past and am currently looking at how both Eastern and Western practices work together to treat you as a whole person.

Jennifer Nickels, earned her Master's Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker. Jennifer's career in the Mental Health field spans over 30 years. During the past 30 years Jennifer has worked as a dedicated Psychotherapist/Counselor and served as an Executive Director overseeing daily operations of programs designed to treat chronic mental illness, brain injury, and children and families struggling with separation. Jennifer's life long passion is helping other's meet their individualized goals and states, "the greatest compliment received is from those she has helped".

Jennifer is a skilled clinician and has focused on treating adolescents, teenagers, families and adults work through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and systemic ideology.  

Along with ensuring that all parts of self are functioning together in harmony, we utilize, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Exposure Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and focus on Person Centered Therapy as the core of movement forward.

Initial Assessment

This is done at the first meeting and includes understanding your history, what is happening in the present, what your goals are and initial diagnosis. This is a 60 minute assessment.

Individual session

This is a 45-60 minute session that will take place weekly-monthly depending on your needs. Ages 16 and up are accepted. Psychotherapy is usually longer term intervention while Counseling is much more brief in nature.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is provided through the use of on-line weekly-bi-weekly sessions and is solution focused.

  • In Office: 1005 Brookside Road suite #80, Allentown, PA, USA
  • Virtual services are primary to allow people who otherwise cannot get into an office. In Office hours are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, These services are protected under the HIPPA act (privacy act) and are done through electronic health records (EHR). Your information is stored through this EHR and cannot be accessed by anyone other than myself or Jennifer as your provider.
